Jeffrey D. Rind M.D., Ph.D
Dr. Jeffrey Rind was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. In 1990, he moved to New Hampshire to start a neurological practice serving the greater Derry area. In 2002, he invited Dr. John Rescigno to join him, and in 2004 they founded Derry Neurological Associates.
After earning a bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York at New Paltz, Dr. Rind worked for a number of years as a respiratory therapist. He eventually became director of a surgical research lab at Brooklyn Jewish Hospital and enrolled in a graduate program at City University of New York (CUNY). In 1983, he earned his Ph.D. in Biology at CUNY, his thesis concerning the neural interactions in dragonfly eye. That year he also started medical school, earning his M.D. from New York Medical College in 1986. He completed his training in Neurology at the Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City.
Dr. Rind holds a lifetime board certification in Neurology as well as board certification in Sleep Medicine. His clinical interests include, but are not limited to, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, headaches, seizure disorders, diseases of nerve and muscle, and sleep medicine. He is regarded as a superb diagnostician.

John Rescigno M.D.
Dr. John Rescigno was born in 1970 in the Bronx, New York. He lived there and in Connecticut for much of his life. In 2002, he joined Dr. Jeffrey Rind in private neurology practice in Derry. Since then he has loved living in New Hampshire, and now considers it “home.”
In 1993, Dr. Rescigno obtained a B.S. in Psychology “with Great Distinction” from Clarkson University in upstate New York. He earned his M.D. from the University of Connecticut, where he also trained in Neurology. This was followed by a year at the University of Michigan, where he trained in Clinical Neurophysiology and Neuromuscular Disease.
Dr. Rescigno is board certified in Neurology and has added qualifications in Clinical Neurophysiology. His area of special interest involves diseases of nerve and muscle, but he considers himself a generalist. He receives referrals from every part of the state, in part because he is known for taking time with his patients, enjoying educating them as part of their care.

Uladzimir Luchanok, M.D., Ph.D.
Dr. Uladzimir Luchanok was born and raised in Belarus, a country in northeastern Europe. He moved to the United States in 2004 and joined Derry Neurological Associates in September 2010.
Dr. Luchanok attended Vitebsk State Medical University (VSMU) in Belarus, graduating with a diploma cum laude. After completing his neurology residency, he worked as an Assistant Professor of Neurology at VSMU and began his Ph.D. thesis. In 2004, he was accepted into the neurology residency program at Saint Louis University in Missouri where he received fellowship training in Clinical Neurophysiology. He worked as an Assistant Professor of Neurology at SLU for several years before moving to New Hampshire. During his academic career, Dr. Luchanok authored and co-authored more than 25 scientific publications, including book chapters on myasthenia gravis and concussion.
Dr. Luchanok holds three board certifications: in Adult Neurology, in Sleep Medicine, and in Clinical Neurophysiology. He has special interests in disorders of nerve and muscle, EMG, head injuries, epilepsy, and sleep medicine.

Katelyn Isherwood, APRN
Katelyn (Kate) Isherwood graduated from University of Massachusetts Lowell in 2004. She began her career at Lahey Medical Center in Burlington, MA as a staff nurse in orthopedics and neurosurgery. She then transitioned to visiting nursing as a way to continue in nursing while raising her two children. She worked her way through the ranks from staff nurse, to clinical educator/wound nurse to finally, clinical nurse manager. Once her children were in school, she moved into a position as the Director of Healthcare for a school supporting children and young adults with severe autism from 2016-2020. This was the opportunity which guided her professional interest in Neurology and pursued her master’s degree as Family Nurse Practitioner in 2022. Prior to joining Derry Neurological Associates in 2024, she worked in obesity medicine with bariatric patients. Now, her clinical interests include general neurology; caring of both children and adults. Personally, she enjoys time spent with her husband, 2 children and dog, Nala.
